Soccer at Poquonnock park
(Started weekly as of April 18, 2004, ended late 2006 due to
participation with local eastern CT soccer competitions)
- Soccer games held every Sunday.
- Location: Poquonnock park (route 1) in Groton (Directions)
- Schedule: Sundays 5:30 pm and Wednesdays
6:30 pm (Summer)
 Ping-Pong
(broken :-)
- New Ping-Pong table now available in the basement.
 Fitness
Equipment (Was available in
the basement of the Masjid)
- Fitness equipment available for use in the basement.
Swimming (Coming again
insha'Allah)
- Swimming has been an exciting weekly sport this summer
(2003), Thanks to Br. Hamza Ismail who invited us to the
swimming pool at his house.

Plains Park)
- Coming from NY, Bridgeport or New Haven
- Take I-95 NORTH
- Take exit 88, the CT-117 exit towards GROTON LONG PT/NOANK
- Turn Right at end of the ramp on NORTH RD
- Continue on NEWTOWN RD until the T cross with Route 1 (0.4
mile)
- Turn Left on FORT HILL RD (Route 1) (0.5 mile)
Poquonnock Plains Park is onto the left after a blinking
light.
- Coming from Boston, MA or Providence, RI
- Take I-95 SOUTH
- Take exit 89, Continue on RAMP (0.3 mile)
- Turn Left on ALLYN ST/MYSTIC ST
- Continue on ALLYN ST (1.3 mile)
- Turn Right on NEW LONDON RD (2.1 mile)
- Bear Right on FORT HILL RD
Pockuonnock Plains park will be on the right after a blinking
light.
